Three countries, one question.
How does a person, or a whole company, actually change how they work? Each chapter of the career so far has been a closer look at that question.
The move
Born in Madurai, India, raised in Saudi Arabia, and immigrated to Canada at age ten. Three school systems, three cultures, one early lesson in how much of work is unspoken habit.
Change stopped looking like an event and started looking like a practice.
The team
As Senior Director of Data Services at Assent, I led a global team of 55+ people and turned a reactive support function into a consulting organization that other teams sought out.
The tools were never the hard part. The habits were.
The council
As Principal, AI Strategy and Innovation, I helped define and establish the AI strategy role and chaired the AI Integration Council, the body that governed AI adoption across the company.
A license is a purchase. Adoption is a choice people make on a busy Tuesday.
The practice
I founded Nilai Partners to do that adoption work for owner-led companies of roughly 10 to 200 people: measure one workflow, make one change inside real work, and show the owner what moved. I also write and speak about what makes AI stick.
The work is still mid-journey, and that is the honest place to write from.
